Not the best strategy for absorbing a novel or retaining it for more than a day, is it? On the other hand, perhaps the semi-mesmerized mental state induced by such a sleep-deprived reading is — or was — ideal for that novel. I do remember liking it. And that’s absolutely all I remember. :)
