Das Keyboard Model S released

Long-time readers have probably noticed that I write a fair amount about keyboards—see, for example, the ergonomic Kinesis Advantage, the Unicomp Customizer (which is a modern IBM Model M), and the Matias Tactile Pro 2. All three are distinguished by their good tactile feel, which makes them far superior to they mushy keyboards you’ll find in electronics stores or shipped with new computers (you can read more about what this means at the links above).

One strong keyboard I haven’t tried yet is the Das Keyboard. But the company is now shipping its Das Keyboard Model “S”. A review unit should be here next week; expect a full review two to three weeks after.
