New look

I bought the WordPress CSS upgrade, which means I can now control visual elements on this blog. The major change so far has been in the font size, which is larger. I’ve also made some smaller changes. If you have an opinion, let me know in the comments! I’m especially eager to hear from people who are on small monitors or netbooks, since I’m looking at The Story’s Story with a 24″ monitor that’s probably atypical.

It’s true, I’m just the cat perched on the back of the chair, who likes to stare at the screen. But now that the font is larger, and thus reduces eyestrain, I can spend less time licking myself, and more time reading. By this time next year, I’ll be ready for job as a literary critic, or, at least, a spot on the Tonight Show.

The bigger font is teh awesome, Jake, especially for those of us with old eyes.

I’m glad you the change. In addition, you can increase the font size of your browser by simply going to view -> zoom -> zoom in (at least in Firefox; Safari, Opera, and Internet Explorer may vary). In OS X, the keyboard shortcut for zooming in is usually command-+.

As far as I can tell, most people either don’t know about this or don’t use it.
