About
In Anything You Want, Derek Sivers says: “The coolest people I meet are the ones who find me through something I’ve written.” Same here. So if you want to say hello or have questions or need to complain or praise or found an error, send those e-mails to me, Jake Seliger: seligerj@gmail.com.
As implied by the title, this site is about books, writing, and culture—the story of the story. It began through e-mail and IM conversations with friends, and I eventually created a WordPress account so I could share my analysis and writing. When I’m not writing about books here, I’m part of Seliger + Associates Grant Writing (which also has a blog) and a graduate student at the University of Arizona.
Note to publicists and publishers:If you want to send books or review copies, send me an e-mail for a shipping address or use:

I do at least start everything that crosses my desk; I start any book with the greatest of hope and the least of mercy; I also have a Kindle but retain a romantic, atavistic attachment to paper books, despite the challenge that storing and sorting pose.

A fixed accident.

” I at the very least start everything that crosses my desk. ”
Do you mean – “I at the very least *stare* everything that crosses my desk”.
